I’m about to do something I’ve never done. I’ll be honest.. this “something” is completely out of my comfort zone, but that’s actually one of the reasons I’m doing it.
This past weekend, I went up to Orlando to see my sister, Alicia to reset and set up my business plan for 2013.
Or that’s what I thought I was going to do.
When I got there, she set up a CD by Tony Robbins to do a goal-setting workshop. Long story short, after the next 2 hours.. I had before me my 1, 3, 5, and 10 year personal development goals, ‘things I want to acquire’ goals, and financial goals.
I’ll read you exactly what I wrote down as #1.
Raise my own standards and be in the best possible shape of my life: I want to be completely transparent in my own journey to be fit and let others join me on this mission. I want to push my body to a place it has never been before and in 60 days prove to myself I can accomplish it with a fitness photo shoot.”
Okay.. I write this down and the music stops on the CD. Tony gets back on and says, “Now, take that goal and take IMMEDIATE MASSIVE ACTION. Do one step that will take you towards that goal right away.”
CRAP!
As much as I wanted to wait until after the holidays, I realized there’s never an easy time to start a challenge like this. So.. no better time than the present! I’m starting my mission officially on Monday, December 3.
Now – if you know me, I am passionate about exercise and eating a healthy diet, but I’m raising my own standards.
I’m ‘soft’ on myself if I miss a few days in a row of exercise, or if I have wine or drinks with dinner both Friday and Saturday night. Sometimes I’ll slip up and find myself snacking on cheese if I’m emotionally drained.. or my late night cravings will get the best of me.
But, not any more! I’m committing to 60 days of giving my 100% BEST to see what I’m capable of.
And I’m taking you with me for the ride.
This morning I asked my boyfriend to take my “before” photos, but more importantly I asked for his support with this.
I’d love to ask YOU the same. I’d love YOU to help me and be a part of this with me.
My promise is to share with you what I eat, how I exercise, and most importantly how I will stay motivated over the next two months.
I’ll show you my progress along the way, and I’d love for you to share your encouragement, hold me accountable, and be on my team as I go through the next 60 days.
I promised to be transparent, so I commit to showing you my results at the end of two months. But I’m also going to show you where I am at NOW. (Again – totally out of my comfort zone!)
And here it is:
If you commit to following me and maybe giving it a try as well as I do this – I challenge you to take immediate action and comment below and say “YES!”.
Thank you for your support and encouragement!
Committed to SUCCESS!
Laura
